In the lead up to a multisport event, I worked with Lee for about 6 months to improve my strength and endurance. He used his knowledge and expertise to challenge my thinking and change my approach to multiple aspects of training (including strength, frequency, progression, nutrition, rest, sleep, etc). This resulted in significant improvements and a noticeable uplift in the quality and purpose of each session.
With this new knowledge and confidence, my performance continued to increase steadily throughout the programme and I thrived during training and the event. I’m now looking forward to training for my next adventure… with Lee’s help again. - - Julie
As a mum of two under two, I struggled regaining my core strength after the birth of my second. My body did not 'bounce back' like it had the first time around and I suffered from incontinence, 'bulging' and 'heaviness' for months after my daughter was born. This was despite the fact that I stayed active throughout the pregnancy (right until the last day) and undertook to doing the recommended pelvic floor exercises post-birth.
After only a few weeks of doing Lee's course, I felt a massive improvement in my core strength and all the "'other" issues started to fade away. I was able to complete a half-marathon without any leakage or feeling of heaviness. I also found that my waist looked slimmer and my clothes fitted me better. I did not expect that aesthetic improvement, but the fact it has, gives me hope that I could regain my pre-baby body in the near future. Lee's technique is different as it teaches you how to incorporate core stabilisation in your everyday exercise routine - after a while, it becomes a second nature. I would definitely recommend Lee's course to other women post childbirth. - - Sarah
